Aged 17 years and 112 days, Sachin Tendulkar scored his maiden test match century against England. It was August 9, 1990. At Old Trafford, Manchester, India was facing defeat, having lost 6 wickets facing a huge fourth innings target. Teenaged Sachin scored his first test century and also the first international century, forging a match-saving partnership with Manoj Prabhakar.
